Description
Virginia Gold is a well-known heirloom tobacco variety over 50 years old, favored by both home gardeners and professionals for its sweet, smooth flavor. Growing 6′-7′ tall with low suckering, it’s easy to care for and cure. Its light green leaves, 14″-18″ wide and 24″-30″ long, turn yellow when ripe. Each plant produces about 18 leaves below the crows foot, yielding an average of 3 oz of dried leaf. With a 55-day maturity, it’s a great option for various climates, including colder northern regions.
